
Mancha in Spain, with the innumerable hectares of vineyard that populate their fields is the more extensive vitivinícola zone of the world.
It is the natural region of greater extension of Spain, occupying a surface of 30,700 Km2, which supposes half of the four provinces that conform it.
Our region counts on a great vinícola tradition, which added to the conjunction of its different natural terrain features, causes that an excellent grape takes place to give life to a great wine, with very peculiar shades. It is possible to be said that the Spot is the ideal zone for the culture of the grapevine, obtaining fruits of extraordinary quality, maturation and health.
The manchegos wines, nowadays, are between most exquisite and more prestigious of the world.
Although the documented origins of grape growing in the Spot date the Xii-xiii centuries after the repoblación from these earth in the heat of Reconquers, will not lack that says that the vines manchegas go back to the Roman time. However, the culture of the vineyards in the Spot reaches its Maxima expansion as of 1940.
Mancha, a great land extension that has a level earth, without high altitude and with a beautiful reddish earth miocénicos sediment fruit of limestone structure.
